If a defect causes the tool to be damaged under a normal use situation, it will be repaired or replaced. The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.
Blade material is a high carbon steel and will rust if not properly taken care of. When the tool is not in use for an extended period of time it should be protected by applying a light film of oil. The handle should also be rubbed occasionally with linseed oil to maintain its protective coating.
