Each knife is made by hand. Dan forges the blades out of O1 tool steel. O1 tool steel has great edge retention, and develops a beautiful patina over time if properly cared for.
The wood for handles is stabilized in a heat treat resin to strengthen and harden the wood. The handle is then shaped by hand on a belt grinder.
All of our field knives come with a handcrafted leather sheath, specifically made for the knife it protects.
